Job Description:
· On conventional ships, normally be responsible for the 12’ to 4’ watch at sea, anchorage or as may be determined by the C/E.

· Generally, be responsible for the maintenance and care of:

– Generators, boilers and incinerators.

– Additionally, purifiers and sewage plant on single junior engineer ships.

– Other ancillary equipment, such as pumps, valves, heaters and coolers according to the area of responsibility as covered by above, or as directed by C/E or 2/E

· Assist as directed by C/E or 2/E

· If a 3rd engineer is recommended for promotion, then he should be assigned various duties as carried out by the 2/E, who will give assistance and guidance as required.

Education & Experience

MUST have at least 12 months seatime experienced in BULK or LOG BULK vessels!!
